See open jobs at Jump Ramp.See open jobs similar to "Senior Software Engineer II (Unity)" Lerer Hippeau.As a Senior Unity Software Engineer responsible for the core game engine and systems that power our puzzle games, you’ll use your talent for building and delivering great game technology with Unity 3D to enable your team to deliver high quality mobile experiences on iOS and Android. Your team is responsible for continuing to develop, update and grow a suite of ad and IAP driven puzzle games. You’ll drive development of the core tech and tools that form the foundation of these games, defining and refining engine and tool architecture, delivering core systems, and driving the development of the tech base. This role will have you working closely with your engineering teammates and the rest of the production and creative team to create the engine and tools required to deliver best in class puzzle games.
This is a hands-on engineering role and requires a strong engineer with a proactive and forward-looking mindset. It will be focused on taking ownership of existing core game engine systems and tools, expanding and improving content and game creation tools, defining architecture of core systems, optimizing and improving the engine that empowers your team and others to build great games. You’ll also work with other libraries, systems, services and teams that deliver the supporting tech ecosystem, including ad delivery, analytics, and other key systems that power our products within the studio, ensuring products are improved, optimized, and maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include defining architecture, and developing and maintaining the RAD engine core codebase, including improving and expanding on foundational code and systems.
- Work closely with engineering and production colleagues to identify needs and deliver game infrastructure and tools based on product requirements.
- Deep understanding of development on mobile platforms.
- Work and collaborate with production, live-ops, QA, and partners in ad monetization and platform departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional game development experience.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience in Unity, and C#
- Service oriented mindset towards teammates and users
- Live game development experience on mobile platforms
- Experience coding game UI components and systems in Unity
- Capable of writing clean, testable, debugged code

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of MobilityWare’ s total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. The pay range annual base salary for this role is $150,000-$190,000.
