About the Role
Heyday is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Technology to lead our technology and information systems initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and information technology. This role is crucial in supporting Heyday's mission to deliver personalized skincare experiences and drive the company's growth in both the brick-and-mortar and CPG sectors including our consumer-facing digital technology. This role must be located within close proximity of New York City.
What You’ll Do
Technology Strategy and Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Heyday's business goals.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the technology team, fostering innovation and driving continuous improvement.
Data Management and Analysis:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of robust data management and analytics systems to optimize customer insights and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage data to drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Infrastructure and Systems Development:
  • Lead the development and maintenance of Heyday's technology infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions that enhance Heyday's customer experience.
Digital Transformation:
  • Drive Heyday's digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on integrating technology into the customer journey and operational processes.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies to keep Heyday at the forefront of the skincare industry.
Team Management and Development:
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the technology department.
Vendor Management:
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring Heyday's technology stack aligns with industry best practices.
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts to maximize value for the organization.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on data and information technology.
  • Proven experience in the beauty, brick-and-mortar, and/or CPG industries.
  • Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and implementing innovative technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate business goals into technology initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity trends.

Compensation: $200,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
