Business Development Manager - Investment Advisor Match Marketplace

NerdWallet is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support our Advisor Match marketplace. This individual will have the unique opportunity to develop a key function of the business, generating growth while strengthening NerdWallet’s positioning and value proposition among financial advisors.
Reporting into the General Manager for RIA, this job exists to manage Nerdwallet Advisor Match’s growing roster of partners - and help that roster grow faster. This role will own the day-to-day management of Nerdwallet Advisor Match partners and become a trusted, consultative resource to our partners. They will be responsible for executing NerdWallet’s strategy and propelling partners growth using both quantitative and qualitative insights to identify and pitch existing partners on opportunities to drive revenue growth for Advisor Match. They will also prospect for and launch new partners to scale the NerdWallet Advisor Match marketplace - leading the decision making process on the infrastructure (pricing, process, etc.) necessary to increase the velocity in which partners join the marketplace.

You are analytical and know how to turn data into insights and actions and tailor it to any audience. You are collaborative and will enjoy working with other areas of the business to create the best experience for our partners.
Where you can make an impact:
Cultivate and grow NerdWallet Advisor Match’s relationships with existing partnerships to meet revenue and performance targets.
Identify and pitch existing partners on creative growth opportunities to increase partnership value on both sides, ultimately driving increased volume and revenue.
Prospect and launch new partners to help scale our marketplace, and oversee the changes necessary to help us do so faster.
Serve as the liaison between Nerdwallet Advisor Match’s marketing, product, legal, and compliance teams and our partners by relaying feedback from partners to drive improvements to our process.
Lead monthly performance reviews with partners to understand and communicate key performance drivers within each funnel.
Your experience:
6+ years of experience in partner management or partner marketing at a similar-sized company, or a relevant start-up
Bachelor’s degree required
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Experience translating data insights into an actionable narrative
Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
Willing to travel up to 20% of the time
