The Vice President of Finance and Analytics will lead the business-facing FP&A and Analytics teams and oversees revenue driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, strategic analysis and capital allocation initiatives. This role partners deeply with senior leadership across the organization to provide data-driven insights that inform decision-making, optimize financial performance, and contribute to the long-term success of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, deep expertise in financial planning, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The Vice President of Finance & Analytics plays a critical role in driving the company’s financial strategy and ensuring alignment with its growth objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making, and monitoring financial performance against strategic goals. The VP of Finance acts as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing guidance on financial risks, opportunities, and resource allocation. Additionally, they lead and mentor the FP&A and Analytics team, collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop financial models for new initiatives. The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-growth environment typical of fintech.

Where you can make an impact:

Financial Strategy & Planning
Own the FP&A function, including long term planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Ensure the company’s financial performance supports strategic priorities and growth objectives. Present monthly and quarterly financial results, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Strategic Business Partnership and Collaboration
Act as key advisor to the executive team (CEO, CFO, CBO, CPO, and others) and their respective teams, delivering actionable insights into business drivers, risks and financial trends. Partner cross functionally to evaluate initiatives, build models and inform decisions around new products, investments and partnerships. Translate analysis into strategic recommendations that shape company direction.-
Capital Allocation Optimization
Support the CFO in capital deployment decisions across the company. Help prioritize investments in growth, brand, product and other strategic initiatives based on expected return and alignment with company strategy. Build frameworks to evaluate ROI and tradeoffs across business units and strategic initiatives.
Performance Monitoring:Reporting & Analytics
Develop and monitor KPIs to assess financial and operational health. Deliver timely, accurate and actionable reporting to senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks and areas for improvement.Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a high-performing Finance & Analytics team, fostering an environment of collaboration, growth, and excellence. Ensure the team delivers robust financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.
Your experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field quantitative fields from a rigorous academic program. Engineering, Math, Physics, Finance, or Economics strongly preferred
10+ years of experience in high-intensity, high-accountability environments such as a high-growth startup, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting
Proven track record of partnering with senior executives to drive strategic planning, capital allocation, and business performance
Hands-on experience with M&A, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and integration planning
Strong foundation in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams in dynamic fast-moving organizations
Proven ability to partner with C-level executives and provide strategic financial guidance.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders, including board members,
Proficiency in modern financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, financial modeling software, Excel, etc. Experience in Oracle Cloud and Pigment a plus).
Highly analytical and intellectually curious, with a bias for action and comfort operating in ambiguity and change
A strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):
MBA or Masters Degree
Experience in the fintech, tech, or high-growth industries is highly desirable.
