This job exists to help manage Nerdwallet SMB’s strategic partnerships. This role will own the day-to-day management of Nerdwallet’s strategic partnerships and become a trusted, consultative resource to our partners. They will be responsible for executing NerdWallet’s strategy and propelling partnership growth using both quantitative and qualitative insights to identify and pitch existing partners on opportunities to drive revenue growth for the SMB lending vertical. They will also prospect for and launch new strategic partnerships that fit NerdWallet’s long-term goals.

You are analytical and know how to turn data into insights and actions and tailor it to any audience. You are collaborative and will enjoy working with other areas of the business to create informative and educational content for our partners.

Where you can make an impact:

  • Cultivate and grow NerdWallet’s relationships with existing strategic partnerships to meet revenue and performance targets across multiple high-impact partnerships.
  • Identify and pitch existing strategic partners on creative growth opportunities to increase partnership value on both sides, ultimately driving increased volume and revenue.
  • Prospect new and first-in-kind strategic partnerships that contribute to widening our funnel and achieve NerdWallet’s long-term goals.
  • Serve as the liaison between Nerdwallet’s sales, product and engineering teams and our strategic partners by relaying feedback from partners to drive improvements to our process.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews with partners to understand and communicate key performance drivers within each funnel, including areas that can help drive improved conversion to unlock incremental revenue across our partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop educational and marketing materials for our strategic partners.

Your experience:

  • 3-4+ years of experience in partner management, consulting, partner marketing, customer success role at a similar-sized company, or a relevant start-up
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Experience translating data insights into an actionable narrative
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, content, and or product and engineering team
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time

Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
