About The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Ad Operations to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution and optimization of our advertising campaigns across custom paid digital media and programmatic offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ad operations, a deep understanding of digital media, a knack for problem-solving, and a focus on out-of-the-box thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of advertising campaigns, including setup, trafficking, and monitoring. Ensure campaigns run smoothly and deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization. Implement strategies to maximize ad performance and achieve client objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, creative, brand strategy, account management, and client services to ensure alignment and successful campaign delivery.
- Provide expert guidance and support to these teams on ad operations best practices.
- Address and resolve technical issues related to ad delivery and performance. Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving ad-related problems.
- Generate and present comprehensive performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders. Offer insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Manage available ad inventory and share regular availability with the team week over week.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Propose and implement new strategies and tools to enhance ad operations and drive growth.
- Lead the development and implementation of new ad features, placements and functions to constantly evolve our ad product suite. Includes ad tech and onboarding of third-party partners.
- Oversee end-to-end monthly billing process for digital ad campaigns, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing, includes partnering with the finance team to ensure all revenue is recognized correctly and in compliance with company standards.
- Develop and refine billing procedures to minimize discrepancies and enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee development and maintenance of digital media benchmarks, specs and general ad operations internal processes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in ad operations or digital advertising, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Proven experience growing and managing a team effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital advertising or data analytics are a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a results-oriented mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick), ad technologies, and tracking tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
COMPENSATION
This is an exempt role. The target pay range for this role is between $125,000 to $150,000 dependent upon experience.
