About the Role:
The Operations Analyst is an integral part of the Supply Chain team, responsible for managing inbound freight negotiations, data analysis and reporting, planning, and other high priority items to enable successful order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and supply chain management, with a focus on regular data extraction and review to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong technical acumen, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to seamlessly collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. The candidate must also demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

This is a hybrid position with the expectation of working Tuesday through Thursday in our Brooklyn, NY office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with various teams such as purchasing, planning, and tech to ensure smooth supply chain operations and to align data sources and definitions
  • Manage inbound freight across every milestone from origin to destination, and negotiate costs to ensure best rates and timely deliveries
  • Extract, compile, and analyze supply chain data from various sources on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to provide insights into supply chain performance
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic decision-making
  • Use data insights to identify trends, support decision-making, and drive performance improvements
  • Triage time sensitive data discrepancies and inaccuracies, reporting out methodology and findings to leadership
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving supply chain processes
  • Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance performance
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to support overall business goals

Professional Skills and Abilities:

  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, data analysis, or a related role
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, data integrity, quality, and innovation
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and trends
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable to new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Compensation

This is an exempt role with a hiring range of $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
