Schoolhouse is a lighting, home furnishings and lifestyle brand dedicated to thoughtful living and purposeful design. From iconic lighting to one-of-a-kind homewares, our mission is to provide a new generation of heirlooms that inspire people to create unique, meaningful spaces in which to live and work.

Schoolhouse will be launching a paid internship program for the fall semester, beginning September 2024 and working through December 2024. In addition to training and career development, our interns will also be eligible for college credits. We are looking for fast-learning and creative interns who are up for a challenge. In turn, our interns will have opportunities to make a meaningful impact at Schoolhouse.

Merchandising: As the Merchandising intern, you will support the team responsible for the product assortments by successfully managing the day-to-day operations that drive sales for the online store, including product sample management and digital merchandising; build product listings online, and supporting the launch of new products as well as help optimize the current shopping experience. This role will work in collaboration with our email marketing, social media, customer care and planning teams and have the potential to influence the assortment through product performance, customer feedback / trends and market knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS

The majority of our internships are for undergraduate students, particularly focused on rising Seniors who may wish to join our company after graduation. The program offers hands-on experience working out of our office located in Portland, OR in an onsite capacity.

COMPENSATION

This is an non-exempt role. The target pay range for this role is $16 per hour.
