The Lead Digital Product Manager for Schoolhouse is responsible for owning the roadmap and KPIs for the Schoolhouse brand, working with stakeholders to determine high impact initiatives to focus on based on key metrics such as traffic, conversion, retention and customer experience. Reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for working closely with Engineering on both short term deliverables and plan longer term vision and strategy for the site and the entire user experience.

This is a cross-functional role that will work heavily with the GM of Schoolhouse, stakeholders across marketing, operations, and finance, as well as the product leads on our other brands (Food52 and Dansk). As we build toward our future unified software platform across all brands, you will also own or collaborate on some brand-agnostic initiatives that will help drive increased performance for all of our brands.

This is a hybrid position with the expectation of working 2 - 3 days per week out of our Portland, OR office location.


  • Own the vision, strategy, design, and product roadmap for, and own any shifts in priority as we progress towards a new platform launch, with a focus on velocity and consistency.
  • Research and deploy strategic integrations and partnerships for Schoolhouse’s Shopify platform
  • Be relentlessly data driven and focused on the main KPIs (conversion, audience growth, NPS)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership to set goals and objectives for the product roadmap, establishing clear deliverables against annually determined timelines.
  • Collaborate with other product leaders on cross-brand initiatives with shared impact.
  • Work closely with teams across merchandising, content, advertising, and marketing to establish initiatives to improve efficiency as we move toward profitability, as well as driving audience and revenue growth.
  • Work with vendors and third parties on integrations, partnerships, and external resourcing (such as design)
  • Be a fearless leader, providing mentorship and goals to the members of the team.
  • Collaborate across other brand teams on best practices for project organization, from scoping to launch, and collaborate with engineering on how to maintain a data-driven decision making process.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with departmental leaders and provide regular updates to executive stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, benchmarking, and best-in-class business practices to inform our strategic roadmap.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner, comfortable driving requirements across a highly diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Create data-driven metrics, and be able to measure the success of any initiative.


  • 7+ years of relevant experience in software product management
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced / hyper growth environment with the ability to ship, measure, and improve
  • 5+ years experience in ecommerce (Shopify)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate objectives and to instill ownership and accountability within cross functional teams
  • Fast, flexible, and outcomes-focused
  • World-class skills at shipping products


This is a salaried, exempt role with a hiring range of $155,000 - $190,000 per year. This role is eligible for a bonus.
