About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and self-motivated Consultation Representative to join our growing team. You will be responsible for conducting phone consultations for both private pay clients and insurance-based clients and educating options for Expressable services that best meet the needs of those clients.
Our Consultation Representatives are the first point of contact for our clients serving as their introduction to our unique treatment model and dedication to high quality care. The ideal Consultation Rep has strong relationship building and communication skills. This position includes a minimum of six hours of telephone conversations each day. Employees in our fully remote environment should have a private home office and reliable internet connectivity.
Ability to work standard business hours Monday to Friday in the Pacific or Mountain time zones is preferred.

What you would be doing at Expressable

  • Provides prospective clients with phone consultations - answering inbound calls and conducting scheduled consultation appointments.
  • Identifies, communicates, and educates clients on Expressable’s service options that best meet their needs.
  • Coordinates with the Client Intake team to triage inbound insurance-based clients, verifying eligibility for services and submitting prior authorizations.
  • Utilizes specialized knowledge and clinical scope of practice to identify possible diagnoses and match qualified SLPs on the team to meet client needs using the CRM and Cue.
  • Schedules initial Evaluations with matched therapists.
  • Writes detailed prospect notes following consultations and scheduling Evaluations to prepare the treating therapist with all necessary and clinically relevant information.

What you bring to Expressable

  • Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience
  • Experience treating a variety of diagnoses including both pediatrics and adults
  • Competency in office productivity and collaboration tools such as MSOffice/Teams or Google Suite and Slack
  • Experience with SalesForce is highly desirable
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with a fully remote team
