We are seeking a Technical Solution Consultant that will be part of the sales team and is responsible for working closely with Sales Representatives, RVPs, Account Managers, and Solution Consultants. The goal is to gain new customers and educate existing customers on our latest technologies by winning over the key technical decision-makers in every deal — the Technical Buyer, AI Governance Buyer, Privacy Buyer, CISO, and HRIS Analyst Buyers. The Technical Solution Consultant is responsible for the technical aspects of the sales process. It is essential that each Technical Solution Consultant is current on technical, regulatory, industry, and product knowledge. Additionally, each Technical Solution Consultant is expected to work with the corporate team to help relay knowledge and best practices. Leading conversations related to system architecture, AI, integrations, security and privacy is a core part of the job. This role requires the resourcefulness to track down answers that don’t yet exist and, when needed, build the technical assets required to win over these buyers. The Technical Solution Consultant will report directly to the Director of Strategic Solutions. The Technical Solution Consultant will work alongside the rest of the Solution Consulting team. While a Solution Consultant is responsible for aligning and demonstrating product solutions with a focus on product features and capabilities, the Technical Solution Consultant has a focus on proactively positioning all of the Technical aspects of the product offering. At a high level, this includes: AI Governance, Frameworks, Models, and Testing Security Data Privacy Cloud Architecture Integrations (APIs, Web Services, Data Import/Export Tools, Connectors) and Integration Roadmap System Architecture Scalability / Reliability / Availability Release Management Disaster Recovery Deliver demonstrations and create scripts for technical integration capabilities, including MCP’s, API’s, Edge Integrations, Import Capabilities, Connectors, and Mapping Configuration Interfaces Provide support for enablement of sales team platform and technology capabilities In this role you will… Convey value proposition for customers in regards to technology, delivered through presentations, live demonstrations, and written and in-person Q A Assist in aligning how technology meets client's needs, goals, and objectives Understand customer’s technology ecosystems and how our technology seamlessly fits into their environment Accurately communicate simple and complex technical solutions Adaptively communicate to both IT and business stakeholders, including Technical, AI Governance, Privacy, and Security buyers, CISOs, and HRIS Analysts Lead discovery — mapping customer signals to desired outcomes — then transition accounts and communicate technical requirements and integration needs to implementation teams Stay aware of competitive solutions and industry standards through ongoing research, benchmarking, and competitive intelligence, position effectively against them, and continuously look for ways to improve our tools and processes Assist with RFP’s/RFI’s/RFQ’s, and track down and coordinate technical questionnaire responses with Security, Privacy, AI Governance, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Product Management teams — building the answer yourself when one doesn’t already exist Communicate with the Solution Consultant team regarding best practices and differentiators, and create integration architecture diagrams, technical assets, and other client- and prospect-facing materials from scratch when nothing suitable already exists, curating them into shared knowledge management resources for reuse Consider privacy and security obligations Learn and master our evolving products, team and processes, serve as an internal contact for post-sale technical inquiries, channel product feedback back to Product Management and Engineering, and support internal enablement (e.g., Account Management enablement) on platform and technology capabilities … and being the rockstar you are, be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed You’ve got what it takes if you have… 5+ years of pre-sales experience with a focus on Cloud environments Desired Skills: SaaS, Human Capital Management, Effective Communication, Solution/Consultative Selling, Team Player, Accountability, Salesforce.com, Enterprise Software, Customer Engagement, Talent/HRIS/CRM Management Systems Knowledge, AI Governance, API’s, MCP, A2A, Information Security, Data Privacy, Highly developed presentation skills. Proficient in “owning the room” using demo skills/techniques to be memorable and differentiate Cornerstone.. Strong relationship-building expertise Proven experience of translating technology into client value Strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organizational skills The grit to hunt down answers across timezones and teams — including the initiative to build the asset yourself when the answer doesn’t already exist The ability to work with a geographically dispersed team Strongly desire in depth knowledge and experience with Cornerstone products #LI-remote
