In this role, you will support the Quality Engineering team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through manual and automated testing. You will work alongside experienced SDETs, QA Engineers, and Developers to learn and contribute to the design, development, and execution of automated test solutions for web applications, APIs, and backend systems. You will gain hands-on experience with industry-leading automation technologies including Java, C#, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, API automation frameworks, databases, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. This role provides an opportunity to develop practical skills in software testing, automation framework development, database validation, defect analysis, and continuous quality engineering practices while working in an Agile development environment. In This Role, You Will Learn and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated UI and API test scripts. Assist in executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios. Work with automation frameworks built using Java, C#, Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. Support the validation of web applications, REST APIs, and backend services across multiple environments. Perform database validations to verify data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems. Write and execute basic SQL queries to validate application data and test results. Analyze test execution results and assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand requirements and test coverage needs. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to continuous integration and continuous testing activities through Jenkins pipelines. Help improve automation coverage, test reliability, and overall product quality. Learn software development and testing best practices from experienced engineering teams. You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have… Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of software testing concepts, test methodologies, and quality assurance practices. Knowledge of programming fundamentals with exposure to Java and/or C#. Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Basic understanding of API testing concepts and RESTful services. Understanding of relational databases and database testing concepts. Familiarity with SQL queries for data retrieval and validation. Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser-based applications. Exposure to Git or other version control systems. Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins is a plus. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn new technologies and automation practices. Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. #LI-onsite
