Role Description

The Integrated Marketing Program Management & Business Operations team is dedicated to simplifying processes, enabling best-in-class tools, and empowering marketers to execute with precision. We are seeking an Business Operations AI Innovation Lead to drive the exploration, implementation, adoption, and impact of artificial intelligence and automations across the Integrated Marketing organization.

In this highly visible and strategic role, you will serve as both an evangelist and enabler of AI-driven transformation for Marketing. You will identify opportunities to automate workflows, enhance productivity, and elevate marketing impact through applied AI solutions. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will design, pilot, and scale innovative AI and automation-powered workflows that help marketers work smarter, faster, and more creatively.

As the bridge between technical capabilities and real-world marketing needs, you will champion experimentation, drive change management, and demonstrate measurable value through increased efficiency and performance. This is a unique opportunity to shape how an enterprise marketing organization evolves in the era of AI—while gaining significant exposure to marketing senior leadership and influencing influencing how the company scales in a rapidly changing marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Shepherd cross-functional change management for AI-first and automation-enabled tools and workflows across the Marketing organization, ensuring successful rollout and adoption.
  • Identify, test, implement, and scale AI-powered marketing automations that streamline operations, reduce manual work, and improve team efficiency and creativity.
  • Design and lead enablement programs—including training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and internal communications—to help teams confidently integrate AI into daily marketing workflows.
  • Partner with Corporate IT and Marketing Operations to translate technical AI capabilities within existing stack into practical, high-impact use cases that accelerate marketing productivity.
  • Run pilot programs that demonstrate the business value of AI-powered workflows and inform broader scale-up strategies.
  • Develop and maintain success metrics and reporting frameworks to measure AI adoption, capture feedback, and continuously refine processes for maximum impact.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and proactively recommend opportunities for experimentation, integration, and long-term innovation within marketing operations.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience driving efficiencies across a Marketing organization using AI and automations
  • 4–6+ years of experience in marketing execution, operations, or program management with direct exposure to AI-enabled workflows and tools.
  • Familiarity with integrated marketing disciplines, including campaign management, content operations, and digital marketing.
  • Experience building or experimenting with AI agents, custom GPTs, or multi-step automation that embed AI into complex workflows.
  • Demonstrated success applying AI to automate or enhance team workflows (beyond content generation) showing measurable impact on efficiency and outcomes.
  • Proven track record driving adoption of new tools or processes across cross-functional teams, including training, enablement, and change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify automation opportunities, prototype solutions, and prove return on investment.
  • Exceptional communication and translation skills, able to make technical AI concepts accessible to non-technical marketing stakeholders.
  • Proactive, builder-oriented mindset, with curiosity about the future of work and a passion for applying emerging technologies to real-world challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies, such as large language model frameworks, copilots, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications, or low-code/no-code automation tools.
  • Strong technical literacy with APIs and modern workflow automation platforms, enabling the ability to prototype or integrate AI-driven solutions.
  • Experience working in technology or SaaS environments, ideally supporting go-to-market teams.

The range(s) listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE (On-Target Earnings) for this role, subject to change.

Please note, OTE are for sales roles only.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.

Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
