Team Description

Our Finance team builds the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our global brand. We work closely with teams across the company, as well as with external partners.

Role Description

Dropbox has an exciting opportunity for a Business Transformation Analyst reporting to the Director, Finance Transformation. The Finance team has assumed additional responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies throughout the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Transformation Analyst to lead our organization through significant changes and improvements. As the Business Transformation Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our business processes and systems, optimize efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will lead and execute various transformation projects across the organization, leveraging your expertise in project management, process improvement, and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of business transformation initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage project intake, including evaluating project proposals, assessing resource requirements, and prioritizing initiatives based on strategic alignment and impact.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Build a pipeline of transformation initiatives across the company.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans to ensure successful implementation and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and integration of transformation initiatives across the organization.
  • Design and build Alteryx workflows, bots and AI-powered low-code automation workflows to enable end-users to automate routine tasks and processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies including training programs and workshops to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Track and measure the impact of transformation initiatives on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches to business transformation and change management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in leading and managing business transformation initiatives within a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and systems, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Experience building complex Alteryx workflows is a must.
  • Experience with bots and GenAI tools is preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration and alignment across departments.
  • Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement within an organization.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or business process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with bot implementation and other Gen AI tools
  • Certificate in project management or business process improvement methodologies

Total Rewards

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):
C$113,100 - C$133,000 - C$153,000
