POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Data Analyst is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of omnichannel inventory data through standard daily routines and processes. The Inventory Data Analyst will handle routine and exception reporting, standard procedure documentation and support for all inventory related functions. This individual will have a strong understanding of business functions and collaborate with the Merchandising, Planning and Sourcing teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain in-season data in partnership with cross-functional teams including updating of print media retails, promotional pricing events and manage seasonal updates
• Create pre-season style set-up by building items in mainframe while accurately entering initial cost components and sales budget information
• Issue and maintain purchase orders (POs) with style color and size breakdowns in partnership with the inventory planning team
• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports for cross-functional partners
• Leverage reporting to surface initial recommendations for inventory opportunities
• Enter promotional pricing events, permanent price changes and troubleshoot web discrepancies as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of work experience or an internship in inventory management, preferably in an e-commerce and/or retail industry
• Problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Communication skills with the ability to interact collaboratively and influence others without authority
• Detail oriented with a tactical ability to review reports, understand, and identify errors/discrepancies in data
• Experience with entering and maintaining data in an ERP or order management system
• Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, work environment
• Experience with Excel and generating reports from various Inventory Management and Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau
