POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Project Manager, this New York City based position will be responsible for the planning and producing of eComm and editorial photoshoots. As a key part of their role, they will be responsible for managing the day-to-day production planning needed for each photoshoot. This role is critical to the creative workflow and will be expected to own the execution of photo productions in support of the Creative and Brand team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, task and communication management, and the ability to optimize processes for a better workflow.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, Creative & Brand to ensure all creative components align with the brand identity and support the creative vision.
  • Manage production for individual shoots, including both on-figure (Editorial and eComm) and flat photography at the collection level.
  • Support the Photography Budget under the direction of the Project Manager, ensuring adherence throughout the season.
  • Assist in tracking and managing budget components such as shot counts and creative requests.
  • Handle review, sign-off, and archiving invoices and estimates within the designated shoot budget.
  • Ensure all advances, billings, usage agreements, and post-production work are finalized and submitted on time while maintaining budget compliance.
  • Coordinate on-staff and freelance talent schedules for shoots and office coverage.
  • Attend Creative or Merchant meetings when requested.
  • Assist the Art Director in shoot preparations and support them during meetings when needed.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure consistency with the seasonal creative strategy on specific shoots.
  • Manage coordinating shoots, equipment planning, travel logistics, on-site production needs, catering, budgets, postproduction, scheduling, and various other production requirements.
  • Create, audit, and send call sheets.
  • Partner with Sample Coordinator to ensure all products are prepped prior to each production.
  • Recommend brand-appropriate talent, organize portfolio reviews, facilitate on-site casting sessions and coordinate the scheduling and booking of talent.
  • Work with the Project Manager, Creative & Brand to manage art due dates and sample timelines.
  • Attending all necessary on-set productions.
  • Scout locations as they pertain to shoots.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A./B. S degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 years Producing experience—print (catalog, magazine, newspaper, collateral), video and the Web
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-end fashion/retail
  • MAC/PC proficient—Word and Excel knowledge necessary
  • Experience as key liaison with, as well as influencing and partnering with senior leadership
  • Ability to travel to shoots.
  • Ability to make high-risk, timely decisions; deadline driven
  • Financial acumen
  • Can maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to adapt well to changing priorities
