Job Summary
The Director, People Operations is responsible for our people life-cycle related processes, programs and systems that drive innovative solutions to enhance our people's experience.
What You'll Do:
- Leads our People Operations team including coaching, managing and guiding team members to ensure highly responsive, accurate, and credible support to our team members.
- Manages compensation programs including administration of our biannual base pay reviews, annual bonus plans and equity grants. Ensures our base salary ranges, job architecture, and pay equity reporting is current and aligned with our compensation philosophy. Conducts market pricing and competitive analytics to assess ongoing competitiveness.
- Oversees benefits programs providing innovative plan design, long-term strategic framework, and engaging communications, while ensuring cost effectiveness. Identifies and executes wellness programs that are aligned with company culture and engage our people.
- Oversees 401(k) plan administration, annual audit, facilitates committee meetings, and ensures compliance with regulations.
- Manages relationships with benefit, 401(k) and wellness brokers/vendors, tracks spend, maintains budget, and negotiates renewals to ensure cost effectiveness is preserved.
- Leads and enhances our on-boarding, and offboarding programs through development of engaging communication materials, people focused workflows and thoughtful use of technology.
- Leads our compliance programs, including mandatory training, policies and our handbook.
- Tracks, monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, regulations and policies. Keeps People Team colleagues informed of new and changing legislation that may impact the organization or our people.
- Oversees Crexi’s HR Systems and optimization including system integrations, and workflows.
- Oversees payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance performing analysis of current payroll processes to design and implementing improvements.
- Manages leave of absence program providing day-to-day leadership, oversight, and coordination to ensure leaves are administered effectively, accurately and People Team members are kept informed as appropriate.
- Collaborates closely with Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, Facilities, Finance, IT, Legal, etc. to ensure alignment.

Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive experience in high growth environments, with at least 5 years proven experience in a management role.

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Playa Vista, California location is $160,000-$205,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc (“Crexi”) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
