We’re looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team in New York City HQ. This person will be a critical part of the team and will report into the Accounts Payable Manager.

Casper has a full portfolio of obsessively engineered sleep products—including mattresses, pillows and bedding—designed by the Company’s in-house design team. In addition to its e-commerce business, Casper has over 40 retail locations across the United States and its products are available at a number of retailers.

This is a hybrid role, requiring that you work 3 days per week from our NYC office.

When youʼre not catching zzzʼs, this is what youʼll do...

• Enter invoices into our ERP, ensuring account coding is appropriate
• Assist with the payment process, including management of key vendors
• Management of new vendor onboarding process
• Monitoring status of purchase orders and invoices in the PO and A/P modules
• Reconciling vendor statements; researching and correcting discrepancies; responding to vendor inquiries
• Monitoring and reviewing T&E reports in the T&E application
• Monitoring the Accounts Payable Inbox
• Assisting with the preparation and disbursement of 1099s
• Supporting annual financial statement audit process

Our dream candidate is/has...

• Has a AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field OR 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Is willing to extend themselves and work collaboratively to reach team goals
• Has a proven track record of strong organizational and communications skills
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Is detail oriented and focused on problem solving
• Excellent time management with high volume invoices and E-mails
• Excitement about working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledgeable in Concur & JDE (willing to train right candidate)
• Familiar with Inventory/Merchandising invoices (willing to train right candidate)
• Loves sleep!

Targeted Annual Base Salary Range: $60,000-70,000 USD

Casper’s compensation philosophy ensures that the actual base salary is based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, experience, special training, time in position, and/or years of service.
