Position Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Capitalize, you will play a crucial role in our growth strategy by engaging potential customers and driving top-of-funnel activities. The majority of your duties will be performed over the phone, where you will be responsible for outbound sales calls, lead qualification, and setting up meetings for our sales team. Your goal is to generate interest and identify potential sales opportunities by articulating the value of our solutions to prospective clients in the CRE debt market.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Calling: Conduct a high volume of outbound phone calls to cold and warm prospects daily to generate new leads. • Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify potential customers by understanding their needs, challenges, and goals, and assessing their fit with Capitalize's solutions. • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads. • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities and conversations in our CRM system, ensuring all information is up-to-date. • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Capitalize's products, value propositions, and the CRE debt market to effectively communicate with prospects. • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on target prospects and messaging strategies.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a sales development or similar role, preferably within the commercial real estate, finance, or tech industries. • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills with a professional and persuasive phone presence. • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), sales engagement tools, and other technology platforms. • Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets in a fast-paced sales environment. • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive company culture. • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
