What is the Role?
CAMP is looking for a Temporary Production Stage Manager for Bluey x CAMP immersive production in Burlington, MA. You will report to the General Manager and be responsible for ensuring the quality and completeness of the creative vision for the immersive experience.
What will you do at CAMP?
- Working closely with the General Manager of the store to manage the performer scheduling within allocated labor budgets
- Working closely with the General Manager & Show Production Manager to ensure ongoing quality of your show, so that Day 100 has as much energy and magic as Day 1
- Supporting the Director of Shows during the rehearsal process
- Supporting all technology-based functions of the show experience
- Maintaining the set and communicating set needs to uphold CAMP’s standards
- Ensuring that safety (first!) and fun are at the center of every performance and audience interaction
- Prop, costume and supply maintenance including quick fixes, daily cleaning and replenishment
- Calling and monitoring the show flow daily
- Supporting show-based casting, onboarding and continued rehearsals for your show
- Managing the performer experience to ensure they are supported, successful and happy during the duration of their contracts
- Providing day-to-day performance assessments and coaching on script, improv, family engagement and play
- Managing the guest experience to strive for every member of your audience being blown away by their visit
- Communicating with and providing feedback to key stakeholders that will support and enhance every aspect of the show
- Participating in the strategy around launching your show or moving your show to a new location
What will you bring to CAMP?
- Experience in family entertainment or theater production.
- Strong understanding of engagement techniques with children and improvisation.
- Experience working with both small and large casts and crews.
- Demonstrates familiarity with the logistics of a theatrical production.
- Has experience in technical theater, especially in lighting, sound, and carpentry.
- Demonstrates specific knowledge of the script and stage directions for the production.
- Open availability. This role is full time and you will be working approximately 40 hours / each week.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to be trained on excellence, enthusiasm, and excitement around engaging with children and families creatively.

- This position requires you to be easily accessible & present at our local show daily.

What are the physical demands?
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
- Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, precipitation, and wind
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
- Ability to safely operate manual and electrical equipment
Compensation: $30/ hr
Duration: July 2024 thru end of November 2024, with possibility of show extension
