- Partner closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure purchasing and inventory are aligned with approved parts, BOMs, revisions, and technical requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy across raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods, and consumables, and support incoming material checks and operational quality processes.
- Receive and process customer orders for hardware, accessories, and consumables after deal close, and coordinate internal handoff into fulfillment.
- Pull, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments from our Brooklyn facility.
- Manage domestic and international shipments, including labels, documentation, customs paperwork, tracking, and delivery coordination.
- Troubleshoot shipping delays, customs issues, damaged deliveries, missing items, and other fulfillment-related problems, while keeping internal teams and customers informed.
- Coordinate delivery timing with sales and field application scientists to support customer installs and training.
- Improve warehouse organization, barcode systems, packaging, inventory controls, and fulfillment workflows, while maintaining accurate records across internal systems.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, materials planning, inventory operations, logistics, or a related role.
- Direct experience managing part-level purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory planning in a hardware or physical product environment.
- Experience working in an ERP or inventory system such as Katana, NetSuite, Odoo, or similar.
- Familiarity with BOM management, revision control, and approved vendor / approved part workflows.
- Strong understanding of how to translate demand forecasts into purchasing and stocking decisions.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, contract manufacturers, or factories on orders, lead times, shortages, and delivery timing.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to be hands-on with warehouse, packing, shipping, and fulfillment work when needed.
- Experience managing domestic and international shipping processes and documentation.
- A process-oriented mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
Nice to Have
- Experience with barcode systems, warehouse setup, or inventory control process design.
- Experience supporting complex hardware, laboratory equipment, biotech, or manufacturing-related products.
- Experience with incoming inspection or operational quality processes.
- Startup experience.
- Experience improving packaging design, kitting, labeling, or warehouse workflows.
