BuzzFeed Inc. is looking for a Branded Creative to work across our suite of brands including Tasty UK, Seasoned, HuffPost UK and BuzzFeed UK. Based in London and reporting to our Creative Director of Branded Content, you will create compelling branded partnerships full of boundary pushing ideas and impactful content strategies for AAA clients, seeing these through from pitch to delivery. This role is required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
You are digital and social first, strategically driven and have experience with sponsored social content and the digital media. You have a natural understanding and passion for digital innovation, pop culture and lifestyle landscape, and an intimate knowledge of all things internet. You'll be collaborative, organised and innovative, with an excellent ability to client-face, and inspire others in the business.
You Will:
- Be an exceptional conceptual creative with a keen eye for art direction, design and copywriting
- Have proven experience building winning pitch decks, both from a creative ideation and strategic perspective
- Have examples to present of working across branded RFP responses and pitch ideas
- Have experience creating campaigns with creators at the heart of the idea
- Confidently develop, communicate and implement compelling campaign BIG ideas
- Think strategically for clients across multiple social platforms, content formats and media brands
- Be proficient using and understand social platforms both organically and through paid campaigns, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snap and YouTube
- Present campaign pitches to internal leads and to clients where required - effectively communicating your ideas and knowing when to adapt to close the deal
- Be a keen participant in brainstorms, ensuring consistent output and performance on campaigns, and share bold ideas within the team
- Push the boundaries of branded partnerships, be comfortable moving beyond content and exploring new formats
- Keep your finger on the pulse of trends and new technology, such as AI, and have an eye for design and all social technology
- Work independently and collaborate with the team - owning projects from brief to delivery
- Have a great understanding of all BuzzFeed Inc. brands and ideate campaigns across all including; BuzzFeed UK, HuffPost UK, Seasoned and Tasty UK.
You Have:
- Significant experience within paid social campaigns, branded content and creator and influencer campaigns
- A portfolio that shows us you can turn a brief into compelling work that turns heads and gets people talking
- A passion for advertising with the ability to think about the unique challenges for brands and develop content that meets the brief
- An open mind, curiosity, and a will to share fresh perspectives in solving problems.
- Substantial experience in developing branded video campaigns
- High standards for work and impeccable attention to detail
- Extensive client-facing experience, being comfortable pitching to clients, answering questions and problem solving on the fly
- A working knowledge of the fundamentals of brand development, digital marketing, and the creative direction process
- Excellent copy editing and written communication skills
- An interest in and deep knowledge of the social web, including experience producing work for a variety of platforms, apps and social networks
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, while keeping a cool head under pressure.
