About Your Role

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will work within the Finance Team to establish and manage key accounting-cycle processes to ensure an accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarter-end accounting close.

Responsibilities

• Assist the weekly Accounts Payable process to key vendors and operators
• Ensure bank reconciliations are prepared daily to support a 5-day end of month close
• Maintain Corporate credit card program and ensure on time bookkeeping
• Internally auditing vendors for W9 and onboarding compliance
• Prepare weekly escrow analysis and set-up payment to/request payment from escrow account
• Prepare month-end and quarter-end accruals and adjustments as needed
• Monitor operator & marketing contracts for compliance
• Manage the company-wide accounts receivables function from MediMobility, Jet Charter and Promotional clients maintaining 100% receivability.
• Liaise with Operations team to ensure all passenger’s accounts are properly paid and all estimated flight costs are properly accrued

Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate financial reporting & End of Month close experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Self-starter; demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment
• Experience with NetSuite (or best-in-class ERP) a plus
• Experience with Navan or other VCC solution a plus
• Ability to produce high-quality analytics and to communicate results effectively
