Information Technology Auditor

Philippines – Full time

Are you a highly motivated, independent, self-starter with a sharp eye for detail? Then come join the growing team at BARK as an Information Technology (IT) Auditor. The ideal candidate has proven experience in testing and evaluating Information Technology General Controls (ITGC)s and participating in operational audits over financial and operational systems and processes.

KEY DUTIES:

• Responsible for testing the design and operating effectiveness of SOX IT general controls and application controls for key applications, tools, and infrastructure.
• Communication of findings and coordination of mitigation and remediation activities
• Key contributor to the execution of the IT audit plan; work as an integrated team with the other Audit team members on joint financial/IT reviews
• Identify systems, business, and process improvement opportunities
• Participate in IT control walk-throughs, documenting processes and determine necessary/applicable modifications.
• Assist in the development of a combined assurance approach, and work and coordinate with external audit, when required
• Provide guidance to IT groups as it relates to control interpretation, applicability, and practice
• Assist in special projects and investigations

EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years IT audit or advisory experience
• Public accounting or consulting experience is preferred, but not required

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting or a related field
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, and/or CPA Certification
• Strong understanding of operational and ITGC risks, audit techniques, and methods used to review and evaluate information systems, APIs, and data
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and connect the dots across multiple areas
• Ability to understand SOC reports and document relation to the control environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently and assuredly with stakeholders across the organization.
