Role overview:

As a Revenue Operations Specialist at Ashby, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue-generating activities. You will work closely with the Revenue Operations Manager, focusing on the day-to-day execution of various projects and tasks ranging from CRM management to systems and workflow implementation. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our Marketing, Sales and Customer Success (collectively, Go-to-Market) efforts.

Today the core tools in the revenue tech stack that we run are HubSpot, Apollo.io, Chili Piper, Clearbit, Instantly.ai, LinkedIn, and Google Workplace. You’ll be responsible for the architecture decisions and daily operations to ensure the suite performs like a well oiled machine.

This role will close for applications Friday, February 16th at ~9am PT

What you'll do at Ashby:

  • SaaS Systems Architecture: Design the revenue tech stack by understanding the business needs and goals then evaluating and recommending improvements.

  • Tool Administration: Be the primary owner of our GTM systems day-to-day. Oversee user provisioning, workflows, object & property management and integrations.

  • Application Support: Investigate technical issues raised by our revenue teams, providing timely and appropriate resolutions. Prioritize the most pressing issues with input from the Revenue Operations Manager.

  • Data Quality Management: Monitor and improve data quality, manage duplicate accounts and contacts, and respond to data quality flags raised by AEs. Implement programs that create accuracy and completeness in our tools.

  • Process Optimization: Work on process improvements across Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, enhancing overall operational efficiency.

  • Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from Finance, Engineering and Analytics to ensure that our GTM systems work seamlessly with broader business operations.

  • Dashboard Management: Regularly update and maintain various sales and go-to-market dashboards & reports to support the operational needs of our GTM leaders.

You could be a great fit if you:

  • Are a systems thinker: You can get into the details while keeping big picture goals in mind

  • Are a problem solver with strong technical troubleshooting skills

  • Are detail-oriented, especially when it comes to data quality and property management

  • Work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

  • Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing

  • Are team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to solving problems

  • Have Operations experience at a fast-growth SaaS startup

  • Have owned CRM management and reporting, preferably with HubSpot

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience using SQL to pull data from a data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery etc)

  • Are a spreadsheet wizard—more than just the basics (pivots, vlookups etc); you can write macros and use query language to turn a sheet into a live dashboard

This role may not be a fit if:

  • You’re uncomfortable with ambiguity: You prefer structured assignments

  • You wish to develop depth on a single tool vs breadth across a system of tools

  • You don’t enjoy collaborating with many stakeholders

  • You prefer focused work on a single project at a time
