About the Company

Aerflo is redefining hydration on the go with the world's first portable soda maker that turns still water into sparkling water anytime, anywhere. Rooted in innovation, good design and sustainability, we're building a future where sparkling water is more accessible, less wasteful, and infinitely more enjoyable.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to own day-to-day paid acquisition for Aerflo across our portfolio: the core Aerflo System, Aerflo For bottle partners like Hydro Flask, additional carbonation systems, and our CO2 refills. We're looking for someone comfortable managing more than one product line at a time, each with its own unit economics and customer journey.

This is a hands-on operator role. You'll run Meta directly, manage the performance creative pipeline, and hit CPA targets on a brand-new product where there's no historical CAC data to lean on.

You'll report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with the cofounders, our Retention & Subscription Lead, and the Creative, Social, and Influencer leads.

The ideal candidate has run paid media at a CPG startup with both a hardware/device and a consumable refill SKU, and can show how they balanced CPA discipline with long-term subscriber economics.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day Meta paid acquisition: campaign builds, bid/budget management, audience strategy, and creative testing.
  • Own the relationship with a performance creative agency. Brief, review, iterate, and hold them accountable to performance-driven creative output.
  • Run Google Search and Shopping campaigns end-to-end, including feed hygiene, keyword strategy, and bid management.
  • Set and defend CPA targets on net-new product launches, then sharpen them as data comes in.
  • Optimize acquisition for the device buyer most likely to convert to a refill subscriber, not just the most CPA-efficient first purchase.
  • Allocate budget across the device, refill subscription, and cobranded products with clear logic for each launch and growth phase. Partner with Finance on planning and performance reviews.
  • Partner with social/influencer lead on paid creator and influencer activations focused on whitelisting, Meta Partnership Ads, and TikTok Spark Ads.
  • Evolve channel mix into new channels like YouTube, Amazon Ads, and TikTok as the business grows, prioritizing channels with the clearest path to measurable acquisition.
  • Own paid marketing analytics, attribution, and reporting across acquisition channels.
  • Define and monitor core growth metrics: CPA, LTV:CAC, refill attach rate, payback period, ROAS, incrementality.
  • Build clarity around channel performance, forecasting, and budget tradeoffs.
  • Ensure disciplined budget allocation, experimentation frameworks, and creative learning agendas.
  • Establish scalable processes, tooling, and freelance relationships where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Has run paid acquisition at a CPG startup with both a hardware/device and a consumable/refill SKU (think connected appliances + pods, beverage systems + refills, devices + replenishment). You understand the device-to-refill conversion curve from the inside.
  • 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth, or acquisition roles.
  • Hands-on experience running paid media accounts directly, not just managing agencies.
  • Deep Meta expertise; strong working knowledge of Google Search and Shopping. Experience with creator/influencer paid (whitelisting, Partnership Ads, Spark Ads) is a plus.
  • Strong command of marketing analytics, attribution, and growth economics.
  • Experience managing acquisition for multiple products or SKUs with different unit economics.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort building forecasts, models, and reporting from scratch.
  • Track record of driving profitable growth under budget constraints.
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to brief a creative agency or in-house team with clarity.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments with ambiguity.
  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ownership.
  • BA in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, or equivalent years of experience.

Compensation will be determined by experience and demonstrated impact. Includes performance bonus, 401(k), and full health benefits.

The anticipated base salary for this role ranges from $115,000–$145,000. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors determining the base pay at offer, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and experience.
