About the Role

We're looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to build and scale Aerflo's customer acquisition engine across our portfolio of products including the core Aerflo System, Aerflo For bottle partners like Hydro Flask and the CO2 refills.

This is a hands-on role that owns growth performance end to end, balancing efficiency and long-term value. You'll architect Aerflo's paid acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, Amazon, TikTok, and emerging channels, manage agency and creator/influencer partnerships for paid, and build the testing engine that turns paid spend into long-term customer value. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and working closely with the cofounders, Retention & Subscription Lead, Creative, Social and Influencers.

The ideal candidate has run paid media across major channels at a high-growth DTC brand and can prove how strategic budget allocation and creative testing drive measurable, efficient growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and runs day-to-day execution across Meta, Google Search, Shopping, YouTube, Amazon Ads and TikTok, building, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns
  • Owns the acquisition roadmap across paid and organic channels, aligned to revenue, CPA, LTV, refill attach rate, and payback targets
  • Optimizes acquisition for the device buyer most likely to convert to a refill subscriber, not just the most CPA-efficient first purchase
  • Allocates budget across the device, refill subscription, and cobranded products with clear logic for each, and integrates acquisition into every product launch and GTM plan
  • Owns paid creator and influencer activations, including whitelisting, Meta Partnership Ads, and TikTok Spark Ads, sourcing creators, negotiating usage rights, and treating creator-driven paid as a measurable acquisition channel
  • Leads SEO strategy across technical SEO and content, in partnership with internal and external resources
  • Owns marketing analytics, attribution, and reporting across all acquisition channels
  • Defines and monitors core growth metrics: CPA, LTV:CAC, refill attach rate, payback period, ROAS, incrementality
  • Builds clarity around channel performance, forecasting, and budget tradeoffs
  • Partners with Finance on planning, modeling, and performance reviews
  • Ensures disciplined budget allocation, experimentation frameworks, and creative learning agendas
  • Establishes scalable processes, tooling, and agency or freelance relationships where appropriate

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth, or acquisition roles
  • Hands-on experience running paid media accounts directly, not just managing agencies
  • Hardware DTC experience (devices, appliances, or higher-AOV physical products with longer consideration cycles and real fulfillment economics)
  • Proven experience with subscription, consumables, or repeat-purchase DTC brands, you understand why refill attach rate and payback period matter more than first-purchase ROAS
  • Deep expertise across paid social, paid search, affiliate, influencer, and SEO
  • Strong command of marketing analytics, attribution, and growth economics
  • Experience managing acquisition for multiple products or SKUs with different unit economics
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort building forecasts, models, and reporting from scratch
  • Track record of driving profitable growth under budget constraints
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to brief creative teams with clarity
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments with ambiguity
  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ownership
  • BA in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, or equivalent years of experience

Compensation will be determined by experience and demonstrated impact. Includes performance bonus, 401(k), and full health benefits.

The anticipated base salary for this role ranges from $115,000–$145,000. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors determining the base pay at offer, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and experience.
