Internship OverviewWe’re seeking a creative, self-motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join the Aerflo marketing team. You’ll help craft engaging short-form videos that showcase our product in action, highlight its sustainability benefits, and tap into trending sounds and challenges. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about social media storytelling, video editing, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Concept & Scripting: Brainstorm and pitch original TikTok & Instagram video ideas that align with Aerflo’s brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Filming & Editing: Shoot high-quality, mobile-friendly video footage—product demos, “day in the life” clips, user testimonials—and edit using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or InShot.
- Trend Research: Monitor trends, hashtags, and challenges; adapt them to feature Aerflo’s unique value propositions.
- Content Calendar: Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain and schedule a consistent posting rhythm
- Performance Analysis: Track key metrics (views, likes, shares, comments, follower growth) and prepare brief weekly performance reports with insights and optimizations.
- Cross-Platform Support: Repurpose top-performing TikToks for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts as needed.
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a college/university program in Marketing, Communications, Film, Multimedia, or related field.
- Demonstrated passion for TikTok with a personal account showcasing creativity (please share link).
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in mobile video editing tools and storytelling techniques.
- Strong understanding of TikTok culture, viral formats, and platform best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for sustainability and knowledge of eco-friendly consumer trends is a plus.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing a social media strategy for a fast-growing DTC brand.
- Video production workflow from ideation to analytics.
- Best practices for audience engagement, community building, and performance optimization on TikTok.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, operations).
Schedule: ~15–20 hours/week, flexible around class/work commitments.
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
Mentorship: Direct mentorship from our Head of Marketing and creative team.
